Failure

I got some gut-kicking feedback today.

Many founders get similar feedback and you might get it one day too if you haven’t already. But not all feedback should be considered.

Here’s why.

You set out to build something spectacular and that takes time.

If your vision hasn’t been realized yet, you should take any and all feedback as attention. And attention is positive.

Other people’s timelines and judgments are a reflection of their internal world, not yours.

Will Caravan Notes fail? I don’t know but it’s up to the market to decide, when I launch. Is the UI bad? It’s ultra basic to make sure everything is functioning. Does it express my complete vision? Hell no.

So bros, don’t let pessimistic people bring you down and never fold up shop before you masterpiece is done. It can take a week, a month, a year or a decade. You made a decision so stick with it. If your vision is complete and the market has no interest, then move on to the next project. But remember: what you learn from following through to the end, through the hate, skepticism, doubt, and moments of utter despair, is a bounty of success that no one can take from you.

Keep pushing bros 🚀
